1. Who you're buying from
Siftdata is a trading name of Sakariya Mahamud, sole trader, Borgergata 3, 1767 Halden, Norway ("we"). Contact: [email protected].
2. Business customers only
We sell only to businesses and other organisations buying for their work. By buying, you confirm that you are buying for a business. Consumer cancellation rights therefore don't apply, but you can still cancel Pro as described in section 5.
3. What you get
- Pro (£99 per month): a list of the care services in England newly registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), sent every Monday as a CSV by email or as a Google Sheet. You can ask us to filter it to particular regions or service types. Your first list arrives within 1 working day of your first payment.
- 12-month backfill (£149, one-off): one spreadsheet of every service registered with CQC in England in the 12 months before your purchase that is still registered, with the same fields as the weekly list, delivered within 1 working day.
Each row contains: service name, address, postcode, local authority and region; service type; registration date (or "registered after" a date, where CQC has not yet published the exact day); provider company; whether the provider is new to CQC (our estimate); phone number, website and Companies House number where available; and a link to the service's CQC page. The website, phone and Companies House number are only filled where the information is available; typical coverage is shown on our home page. The list does not include contact names or email addresses.
4. Price and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not registered for VAT in Norway and add no VAT. UK business customers account for any UK VAT under the reverse charge. Stripe takes payment by card. Pro renews automatically each month on the date you first paid, until you cancel.
5. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel Pro at any time by emailing [email protected]. We stop your subscription before the next payment date. You keep the lists you have already received, and we don't refund the month in progress. The backfill is delivered straight away, so it isn't refundable once sent. If a file is faulty or clearly not what we described, tell us within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund you.
6. How you can use the data
You can use the lists inside your organisation, for example in your CRM and for your own sales and marketing, and share them with your employees and contractors who work for you. You can't resell the lists, share them with other companies, or publish them.
The data comes from CQC and is reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0. These terms don't limit anything the licence already allows you to do with CQC's original data. Siftdata is independent and not endorsed by CQC.
When you contact the services on the list, you are responsible for following the marketing and data protection rules that apply to you, such as UK GDPR and PECR.
7. Accuracy
We build the lists carefully from CQC's published data, but we can't guarantee that every detail is complete, correct or up to date, and CQC sometimes publishes late. We don't promise any sales results. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll correct it in the next list.
8. Liability
Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Changes
We may change these terms or the price of Pro. We'll email you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
10. Law
If something goes wrong, email us first and we'll try to put it right within 14 days. These terms are governed by Norwegian law, and any dispute goes to the courts of Norway, in the seller's home judicial district.
